Welcome

The Sherman Center for Early Learning in Urban Communities was a multidisciplinary center established in 2017, which operated through 2024 with a generous gift from the Sherman Family Foundation. Through applied research, professional and leadership development, and partnerships with schools, families, and communities, it seeked to build a strong foundation for learning among young children in Baltimore City, and support the development of best early education practices for urban schools.
