The Sherman Center for Early Learning in Urban Communities supported a range of research publications, materials, and products, as well as professional development tools, a semi-annual newsletter, and an annual report, from 2017 to 2024.

The Sherman Center for Early Learning in Urban Communities sought to enhance the learning opportunities and outcomes of young children in urban communities through research, teacher professional development, and partnerships among schools, families, and communities. The success of this work largely depended on how well we shared the knowledge, tools, and strategies produced by us and our stakeholders.

To this end, we shared research publications, materials, and products, as well as professional development tools, our semi-annual newsletter, and our annual report.  The newsletter provided readers with current information about our work and progress, and featured articles written by local and national experts. The annual report summarized the year’s accomplishments and was shared with our partners and supporters, as well as used to secure additional funding.
